Profile Management

Manage your account details, preferences, and security settings to personalize your Publicus experience.

Overview

  • Customize your personal information, business profile, and security options in one place.
  • Ensure your AI matches are accurate by keeping profile fields up to date.

Access

  1. Click your name or avatar in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar.
  2. Select Profile to open your account settings.

Sub-sections

  • Profile tab
    • Editable fields: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Job Title, Company, Location.
    • Preferred Categories: Define service areas (for example, IT Services or Construction) for AI matching.
    • Semantic Description: Provide a detailed business focus for improved recommendations.
    • Bio: Brief summary of your company or role.
    • Click Edit Profile, update fields, then Save Changes.
  • Security tab
    • Password management: Change your password by entering current and new credentials.
    • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Enable or disable an extra layer of security for your account.

Best practices

  • Keep your profile current. Update categories and descriptions when your business focus changes.
  • Use a strong password. Combine letters, numbers, and symbols for better security.
  • Enable 2FA. Protect your account by turning on two-factor authentication.
